The quick, fast and convenient way to book tickets online and print them out in the comfort of your own home.
You can also transfer your tickets to the DB Navigator app and use them on your mobile device.*
The Online-Ticket guarantees flexible booking options and convenience when travelling. It's available for almost all connections within Germany and scores of routes to other European countries, and it can be booked until shortly before departure.
You need an identification card to book an Online-Ticket and for inspection on board trains. You also require Adobe Reader® to open the PDF file that serves as the ticket, or you need a functioning smartphone or tablet computer if you are using a mobile device to display your ticket.
You can book Online-Tickets for other people as well as for yourself.
When catching your train, it is important that you take with you the identification card that you specified during booking, even if this ID has expired since booking. If you are booking for another person, this traveller must carry and show the identification card specified for them during booking.
Greater security, greater choice
The Online-Ticket's additional visual security features are designed so train attendants can check it without the need for additional electronic devices. This means you can also use Online-Tickets for services that involve regional trains, i.e. Länder-Tickets and the Schönes-Wochenende-Ticket. Please ensure that image display is enabled when viewing Online-Tickets on your computer screen and during printout.
