Conditions for exchanging and refunding tickets ordered online

You can cancel your ticket yourself (depending on the cancellation policy) in the booking review or order search at www.bahn.de. You can also cancel your mobile phone ticket via the booking review at m.bahn.com.

If you would like to exchange your ticket, you can book your new journey in the travel information section immediately after cancellation. You can access the booking review via your personal mobility portal "My Bahn", under the menu item "My bookings".

Luggage and courier service Cancellation of the total service is free of charge if it is done until 6 p.m. on a working day (Mon-Sat) before the collection and only before the outward journey.

City mobil Cancellation can only be done in combination with the regular ticket

** If you change your travel plans the reservation of a specific train with a Sparpreis saver fare ticket can be cancelled for a fee of EUR 15.00 up to one day before departure.
In addition, the difference between the Sparpreis saver fare and the standard fare is to be paid.

Would you like to change or cancel your ticket? This is how you do it!

1. Go to your personal mobility portal "My Bahn".
2. Click on "My bookings" (see image alongside).
3. Cancel your online ticket at the conditions stated above.
4. You can then book your new journey in Travel Information.
