Get around faster in the city
Get a ticket for local public transport at the same time as your "City mobil” rail ticket on request. You can also book City mobil when you make your online booking and print it out as an online ticket. If City mobil is available for your destination city it will be displayed automatically as an optional extra.
You therefore save valuable time because you no longer have to waste time looking for the right ticket at the destination. After your rail journey you simply transfer to your bus, suburban train , tram, metropolitan train or underground. Select “Einzelfahrkarten für Erwachsene” (adult single fare) or “Tageskarten für Erwachsene” (adult day ticket) for the respective part of the city.
Single fare
For a journey directly after the corresponding DB rail ticket. The precise period of validity (normally between 2 and 3 hours) varies depending on the location and is always shown on the ticket.
Two single fare “City mobil” tickets can be issued for DB rail return tickets . One ticket for the leg after the outward journey and one ticket for the leg before the return journey. The single fare “City mobil” tickets can be issued for different days in this case.
Day ticket
For any number of journeys after the corresponding DB rail ticket. The period of validity varies depending on the location (in some places more than 24 hours) and is always shown on the ticket.
