Discover Europe – being kind to the environment and to your budget! With the One Country Pass you can travel intensively within one country by train, and with the Global Pass you have access to the whole of Europe.
- You can buy the Global Pass with either flexible or continuous validity. With a flexible pass you choose your travel days within a fixed period, while with a continuous pass you can travel on all the days within the period of validity.
- The One Country Pass is available with flexible validity, i.e. you choose on which 3, 4, 6 or 8 days you want to travel within one month.
InterRail is open to anyone who has been a permanent resident in Europe, Russia or Turkey for at least 6 months.

The following price categories apply:
Children aged 4 to 11 (1st and 2nd class)
Young people aged 12 to 25 (2nd class)
Adults aged over 25 (1st and 2nd class)
Seniors aged 60 and over (1st and 2nd class)
Applicable is the age on the ticket's first day of validity.
|Period of validity for the InterRail Global Pass:||5 days to be selected from within a 10-day period
10 days to be selected from within a 22-day period

Start of the period of validity: midnight at the start of the first day of validity
End of the period of validity: midnight at the end of the last day of validity as entered on the ticket.
The period of validity cannot be extended at a later date.
|Period of validity for the InterRail One Country Pass:||3 days to be selected from within 1 month
4 days to be selected from within 1 month
6 days to be selected from within 1 month
8 days to be selected from within 1 month
Start of the period of validity: any day of the month.
End of the period of validity: up until midnight at the start of the same date the following month.
If the first day of validity is the first day of the month, the period of validity ends on the last day of the month.
The period of validity cannot be extended at a later date.

|Validity:||Name, date of birth, country of residence and ID card number or passport number must be entered on the pass.
A suitable proof of residence in the country of residence must always be carried, as must the ID document specified on the pass.
The applicable journeys (travel report) must be entered in the questionnaire.
|Advance sales period:||InterRail passes can be purchased three months in advance; you can also buy several passes at the same time with consecutive periods of validity.|
|Exchanges/refunds:||Before the first day of validity it is possible to exchange your ticket free of charge, e.g. for a different travel date, or to return your ticket for a refund at the point of sale where it was issued, for a refund fee of 15%.
When you travel with InterRail, you may receive compensation if your train is delayed or cancelled. The prerequisite for this is that during the period of validity of your pass you experienced at least 3 delays of 60 minutes each in the case of the InterRail Global Pass, or at least 2 delays of 60 minutes each in the case of the InterRail One Country Pass.

|InterRail in your country of residence:||You cannot purchase an InterRail pass for your country of residence.
Travellers who have been resident in Germany for at least 6 months and present their InterRail Global Pass when purchasing tickets for the journeys to and from border stations receive a reduction of 25% on the standard price ( Except Poland). You can only purchase these reduced tickets at DB points of sale.
|InterRail centres:||There are InterRail centres in some cities, where you can meet other InterRailers and receive information on your Europe trip.|
|Special advantages:||Free entry or reductions in many railway and transport museums, on mountain railways and cable cars, in hotels and on shopping offers with selected partners.|

Participating InterRail countries
Austria, Belgium, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Luxembourg, Montenegro, the Netherlands, Republic of Ireland, Republic of Macedonia, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Sweden, Turkey and the pass is also valid on the "Attica" ferry operating between Greece and Italy.
The ideal offer for a week's break in Europe, short trips or intensive expeditions. Citizens of Europe (for at least 6 months), former Soviet Republics and Turkey can use the InterRail passes.
InterRail passes are not issued for the holder’s country of residence. Customers who have been a registered resident in Germany for at least 6 months can obtain a 25% discount on the standard fare for the ticket to the railway station on the German border and vice versa on presentation of an InterRail Global Pass. These reduced-rate tickets are available only from Deutsche Bahn POS.
