The choice for occasional travelers and families: BahnCard 25 already pays off with one annual journey of more than EUR 200.00 in second class. BahnCard 25 costs just EUR 61.00 for second class and EUR 123.00 for first class and grants 25% reduction on the full fare for a whole year.
Travel flexibly and save at the same time: BahnCard 50 costs just 249 EUR for standard class and 498 EUR for 1st class and is not valid in connection with Saver fares. Children, students under 27 years and senior citizens over 60 years pay only half the price for their BahnCard 50.
As a BahnCard user you collect bahn.bonus-points for each rail travel with DB. You can redeem these points for attractive rewards within 3 years. Therefore please state at purchase of each ticket that you would like to collect bahn.bonus-points because a credit of points is not possible later on.
Just hop on the next train: BahnCard 100 offers 12 months travel on all DB services. It only costs 4,090 EUR for standard class and 6,890 EUR for 1st class.

Your long-distance ticket (routes of more than 100 km) purchased with a BahnCard discount entitles you to use bus, rapid transit, underground or tram free of charge in the City-Ticket's area of validity within the city boundaries of 120 German cities in order to reach the station for the start of your journey and to reach your final destination after arriving at the destination station. You are required to purchase your ticket with BahnCard discount, your destination is over 100 km from your orign and is within City-Ticket zone. City-Ticket is free and is automatically noted on your DB-ticket with "+City" behind the DB station name.
The BahnCard insurance covers you or your family against most travel risks. Your insurance can be obtained online or at DB travel centres and DB agencies. The travel insurance is valid from the day of purchase until the expiry date of the respective BahnCard.
