Conclusion of contract
Booking tickets at bahn.de
A contract is concluded when making a booking at bahn.de by clicking on “Make the booking” in our Travel Information.
Yout ticket is booked when you click the “Make the booking” button. When making the booking your credit card will be debited the charge for the Online-Ticket. If you are paying by direct debit the amount will be taken from your account. When making the booking you accept the valid general terms and conditions.
Important information
Please note that we do not store the contract text for an order/booking. You may print out the valid terms and conditions or store the PDF of the complete “Beförderungsbedingungen für Personen durch die Unternehmen der Deutschen Bahn AG” (Transport conditions for passenger traffic with the companies of Deutsche Bahn AG) on your PC. We also send you a confirmation mail with each order/booking. Each booking can also be seen via the booking review in your customer login.

Bookings in our Holiday area
Within the scope of the tourism services it offers at www.bahn.de, Deutsche Bahn AG (DB AG) acts exclusively as an agent for flights, package tours, hotel bookings, hire cars etc. (hereinafter jointly referred to as 'travel'). DB AG does not organise any travel itself. If a booking is made the contract relating to the travel is concluded solely between yourself and the respective travel organiser or service provider. In this respect, reference is made to the corresponding general terms and conditions of the travel organisers or airlines. In particular provisions and restrictions may apply to fares, goods or services selected by you.
By filling in the information fields and completing the process you instruct us to act as an agent for a transport service or another service associated with arranging travel performed by a third-party travel operator. Our contractual obligation is restricted to acting as an agent for the travel which is offered and available. The performance of the travel booked as such is not one of our contractual obligations. The contract for the respective service is concluded with the receipt of confirmation in writing from the respective operator.
