Delays:
On 3 December 2009, a new EU regulation came into force which, amongst other things, harmonises passengers' rights in case of cancellations and delays in rail transport. If you wish to make a complaint or claim a refund owing to delays, you are therefore kindly requested to contact the place where you purchased your ticket.
If you purchased your ticket from DB: online form at www.bahn.de, search term "Passengers' rights" or call the service centre hotline +49 (0) 180 5 202178 (14 ct/min for German landline calls, mobile phone charges max. 42 ct/min), lines staffed 24/7.
If you purchased your ticket from SBB: online form at www.sbb.ch, search term "Passengers' rights", write to SBB customer service at SBB Kundendienst, Postfach, 3000 Bern 65, or call the toll-free hotline: 0800 401 401 (Mon - Fri 8:00-17:00 h).
